Dr. Martin, in fact his entire staff, are some of the very best healthcare professionals I have been exposed to in my 63 years. Very clear, very caring, very efficient, extremely positive. One of the few healthcare providers I have run across these days that really does put the patient first in word and in action. The entire practice is unified in the "patient first" mentality. Had PKR knee surgery with Dr. Martin in Dec. 2018. He was recommended by my otho Dr. as one of the top choices for procedures using the Mako robot. These procedures give better results and faster recovery than traditional knee and hip replacement surgeries. Dr. Martin talks about your procedure, likely outcome, and post op expectations in 'normal' language that you can understand and he takes the time to answer any/all questions you may have.
I am 64 yrs old. I had a total hip replacement (Makoplasty with robotic arm) on 11-9-18. It was a miracle of science! It took less than 2 hours and I was home that afternoon. I was off pain meds in a week, used a walker for 2 weeks, and started indoor cycling for rehab after 10 days. By 1-6-19 I had 184 miles on my indoor trainer. I started road cycling on 12-21-18 and by 1-27-19 I logged 701 combined miles. Dr Martin is wonderful, extremely experienced, and gave me my life back!
Dr Martin is the best, no doubt! He performed partial knee replacements on both my knees. The surgeries went better than expected, recovery was much better than expected, and the overall experience with Dr Martin and his staff was much better than I have ever experienced with any other surgeon. I am pain free for the first time in decades, and owe it all to him.
I feel so blessed to have found such a wonderful doctor! Born with a hip disorder, I needed to get both hips replaced at age 57. I had my first surgery on Nov. 14 and my second on Dec. 12. I walked out of the hospital two hours after surgery, was walking without a cane/walker the next day, and riding a stationary bike two days later. I had no pain, and my recovery was amazing! Dr. Martin has a great bedside manner, and the scars are minimal. I would highly recommend Dr. Martin to everyone.

After interviewing 5 surgeons and researching highly rated hospitals I made the decision to have hip replacement surgery with Dr. Martin. I could not be happier and have told everyone I know about my successful hip replacement surgery. I've been up walking from day one without a walker, cane or pain meds. Before surgery I was in excellent physical shape which goes a long way in how your recovery will progress. Dr. Martin is a highly skilled surgeon with a caring staff to back him up.
April 9th 2018...I had a complete knee replacement....Dr Martin and his staff were so professional and always willing to answer questions that i had......I'll be getting my other knee done in August. And Dr Martin will be doing it...recovery Time was very short ..hard to even see the scar....he is truly an artist,and it shows in his work ... Thank you Dr Martin and your team..... Daniel c.
