About this business

Well off the beaten path, The Joint serves up what is often argued as the best barbecue in the Crescent City. Passersby may miss this tiny barbecue café at first glance, but the fragrant smell of the smoking meat keeps the restaurant going unnoticed. The Joint menu features all of the barbecue basics including brisket, pulled pork, chicken and ribs. Side options include cole slaw, potato salad, macaroni and cheese, and baked beans. Finish a meal with a slice of pecan, key lime, or peanut butter pie. - Bethany Culp

this place is out of control! stopped by for dinner with a friend because we happened to be in the neighborhood and it turned out to be one of the coolest and most original bbq places we have ever been to! beautiful people and a great atmosphere and since it's located in bywater they don't seem to get a lot of tourists but locals instead, which is awesome if you wanna get to know the town! make sure to soak your ribs in their homemade sauces! keep it up guys! i'll be back for sure!

I love bbq and baked beans more than most. The pork here is great! The mac and cheese was very dry, the baked beans were awful something in them overpowered the beans, the sweet tea was gross. The tea had a bad after taste like the tea was old or spoiled.

I tried the ribs, pulled pork, Mac n cheese, and baked beans. All of it was amazing but the ribs and baked beans stood out the most to me. The ribs were fall off the bone tender and the beans were just amazing. Service was super fast and a down home atmosphere too. I will definitely visit again when I'm in New Orleans.

Saw this place on Triple D, so it was on my list and glad I went there. Great food all around, but the Rib's are the best. Just a Uber ride away
