Like the previous poster, we stayed at various places on our road trip, and the Alpenrose Inn was absolutely the best. A true gem with clean, comfortable and charming accommodations. If only every place could have a fraction of this type of service and hospitality. Thank you for a delightful stay.

Charming place...we stayed at 7 different hotels on this road trip and this place had, by far, the most comfortable bed! Short drive to everything. If we go back to Lake Tahoe, we will stay here again for sure.
What a gem beautiful rooms with amazing bathrooms and fluffy towels and in a great location only a few minutes walk to the lake and Heavenly Ski Lift . Free WiFi, parking and breakfast.....we will certainly stay here again.
Convenient location, attentive staff and great common areas to enjoy throughout your stay differentiate this B&B from other options in Lake Tahoe! I'll be back!!!
Quiet, Clean, and Affordable. Great breakfast - inside or outside on the patio; we prefer the patio - sunny -- clean air and beautiful, makes the hot coffee even better with the toasted beagles. Nothing better than this.

Wonderful little gem off the beaten path in beautiful South Lake Tahoe! Walking distance to the "action" and the lake, on a quiet street. Good sized room, updated and well appointed. Charming! We will be back!! Thank you to the friendly and helpful staff!!
