I've been to the Java Room once or twice before - only in the evening to see a friend's band and I have always enjoyed myself. This was the first time I was there in the afternoon (my first meeting with someone, in fact) and we both had a very pleasant time. The atmosphere was entirely conducive to conversation with the (overhead) music playing at a volume that allowed me to be aware of it but was in no way obtrusive. The green tea was great, too! All told, it was an entirely positive experience.
Food, drink and music are good but too pricey for me
Such a relaxing place! Coffee and pastries are delicious!
Seem very abrupt and sometimes rude. Great coffee and hit chocolate but sometimes hostile.
