Very disappointed in my patient/parent experience. We were incorrectly billed under a random NP that we've never even heard of, making our insurance kick back the claim and resulting in a $455 bill. When I called billing, the lady was super rude with me, didn't even let me finish my question before she said, "Let me guess, you were a patient of Dr. X." Then, proceeded to tell me that "she probably wasn't credentialed anymore so she couldn't bill under her own name." I then informed her that this was 4 months BEFORE that doct... read more
I feel that the quality of care has gone down significantly in the past year, and that is very disappointing as it can be a hassle to switch pediatricians. I am told repeatedly that my children's symptoms are not enough to warrant a Dr's visit, or that the urgent care I resorted to is wrong in their diagnosis.
The office will not see sick children. If your child wakes up sick you have to wait for an opening in their schedule- this could be days- defeating the purpose of a primary care physician for my children. The doctors and a couple of the NPs are lovely people but you can’t even get in to see them if your child is ill. When calling, the staff almost always automatically recommend taking my children to the ER no matter the ailment.
