RecommendedMy mother lives in the memory care building, now called Traditions, and I couldn't be happier. I love that it is a smaller community and that the residents get more one-0n-one care. And while there has been some management and staff turnover, which is to be expected, it has been seamless. Most importantly, the residents health and safety has been their #1 priority, and they are exceeding my expectations in their handling and implementation of protocols during these unprecedented times with Covid 19.
My Mother-in -law is Ava Smith and she is now in the Traditions building. When we first came to the Ivy ,Ava was in the assisted living building. She was having a difficult time there ,due to some health issues and we didn't know what to do. Ava had just lost for daughter ,who had been her care taker and I was recovering from breast cancer and could not care for her. The workers consistently take care of my 98+ year old Dad. He's been there for 4 years now, and says that he is well taken care of; being almost confined to his lounging chair and can barely see due to his macular degeneration. Whenever he needs help, they are always there to assist him cordially.

My Mother has been at the Ivy since 2011. She loves it there and calls the Ivy home.She feels loved by the staff and they take good care of her.

We recognize that we are privileged to work in our resident's home--a place where care, fun, and friends make every day joyful and filled with purpose. My 96 year old mother has lived at The Ivy since 2018. The staff is caring and do their best to provide everything that she needs in a timely manner. The Ivy may not be the fanciest, or the most expensive assisted living facility, but it does feel the most like home and that is what is important to my mom. Her apartment is large with a very big bathroom, a nice kitchen area a big bedroom and a huge closet. Having her own washer and dryer in the apartment is a great help. What I saw today when visiting this beautiful campus was lots of love for all the residents from the wonderful staff that work so hard! This is a great community - a place so many residents feel truly at home and are met with smiles and fun! It was an honor and a blessing to come out and be a blessing to your community today. We're so happy that the Mariachi Aguilas de America were able to provide some much needed entertainment during a difficult time. Thank you from all of my staff @ Mexigo Restaurant in Allen, TX!
