Food seems like it declined a bit. The service was still fantastic! Super big bummer there's no shirts to purchase anymore

RecommendedJust happened upon this place. It was great! Got the ruben, real corned beef with delicious 1000 island. The burgers looked amazing- obviously known in the area for those- everyone else was eating them. Great place to take a drive to, the rolling hills in that area are beautiful!
Seriously understaffed for a Sat night! No identifiable mgmt in site. As a former server / bartender, I felt bad for the servers and cook! This so-so review is not their fault. Menu is way too extensive for such a small bar...evidenced by the fact we waited 45 mins for food and the place was 50-75% full! Good bar food, generous portions..nothing fantastic though. Omg!!! It was so good!!! We had loaded gunderburger w hashbrowns and cheese...grandsons had chicken strip baskets...generous portions and very tasty..service was awesome!!!

New ownership > unfilled salad bar and marginal food. Loved it before but now I don't even like it. I no longer have it on my place that is a must stop. Sorry, but not all change is good.
The restaurant was great and it just made me feel like I was at home eating comfortably. Love Iowa restaurants in small towns like this. The burger was beyond amazing and I recommend it to everyone. The waitress was sweet and there to make it a memorable experience.
