There aren’t enough positive adjectives I could use to describe every stay I have had at The Irish Cottage. Just got back from a short overnight stay and again the service level was top notch. I have been going to Galena for decades as my maternal grandmother’s family is from the area. I have stayed at other lodgings but nothing compares to the warmth, hospitality and friendliness as that of The Irish Cottage. I highly recommend it!
From the service at the hotel - to the food in the pub, it was all fantastic! We will definitely come back!

I love the Irish Cottage! All of the staff are just wonderful and it's always spotless. Enjoy the pub too! I always look forward to going back.
The staff is awesome! Always very friendly and helpful. John is everywhere helping and taking care of the guests needs. I remember I was not feeling well and they even made me a tea. Next day they asked me how I was feeling, which I think it was a very kind and nice gesture! Thank you! Excellent service, nice and very clean rooms, very good food and charming Irish atmosphere!
