This was my first experience with the Institute for Digestive Health and Liver Disease, and it was positive at all levels, from the registration, to the nurse and the physician.
Dr. Desi was very rude and in a hurry. He would not even make suggestions or do any testing for my GI issues. Told me basically to go somewhere else. He did not report accurately, stating that he gave instructions that were never given. I waited 3 months for this visit after suffering for way too long and this is cost me an expensive co pay and cost my insurance a fortune for nothing. And we wonder why healthcare has gotten so expensive. What a waste of money and time and I still don't have answers.
Dr. Hyatt is excellent. One of the most knowledgeable people I have ever met and he is very reassuring in how you will progress and what is a concern or not! He thoroughly read my files before my first appointment and picked up like there was never a time he was my doctor! He was very to the point and explained everything thoroughly and had a clear plan for how to move forward and what we can try. He knows his stuff and has great bedside manner!
