I don’t change hair stylists often, but I will definitely be returning to Hype. Mari did a fabulous job on my short, asymmetrical cut, and I couldn’t be happier. The salon is lovely with a welcoming atmosphere, and it’s close to my home. That last thing may not be that important because I’d drive across town in traffic to have Mari cut my hair. 💜
I really like the concept that Hype Hair Studio uses to have a set price and no tipping. Zaida is my stylist, and I really like her. She is very responsive to the needs of her clients, makes sure the client is happy with the results, and is skilled at her profession. It is a friendly and happy place.
My son's hair was cut about 3-5 inches shorter than the reference picture and unfortunately it completely changed the style. His hair was down to his shoulders when we came in, I think it was just not cut to account for the shrinkage from the perm. We won't be returning.
