I'm currently moving out and I'm beyond excited for the peace away from this apartment. I lived here for 2 years now and at the time so many people told me to move out and I should’ve listened because I gave Huxley the benefit of the doubt countless times and it only has grown worse. Me and my cat got violently sick from literal clogged fequal matter next to my stairs left there for an entire week with the fumes seeping through the walls. I've been living here for 2 years and as of today, this is the SIXTH time my apartment has leaked or flooded. I submitted an emergency maintenance request at 8am this morning. Called the office and was informed that on a SATURDAY, there is an on call maintenance man that doesn't get in utill 12. NEVER have I ever had to wait HOURS after submitting an EMERGENCY MAINTENANCE REQUEST. After my FIFTH leak last month I left a message for the manager to call me back regarding lowering my rent. No call.
I toured here back in december, applied and got approved but did not end up signing the lease due to safety and security concerns. I noticed that everytime I came here there was no one around the complex, walking around, or doing any daily business (taking out trash, unloading groceries etc). I toured the model unit and i really liked the size. Outside on the patio is where the washer and dryer would go, and i liked that the apartment had a natural flow to the unit.
