I lived at The Huxley for about 5 years, and overall I had a very positive experience living there. The building itself is in a great location, but what really stood out to me over the years was the staff and the people who help keep everything running smoothly. Liza, the property manager, was always responsive, professional, and understanding in all of our email interactions. The staff has been great for the short time I lived here. Sydney, Dahzia and Elizaveta were always friendly and quick to respond to my concerns or questions. My only complaint besides the rent going up over $150 a month after the lease term was up, is the community coffee machine was always broken or needed attention. I did hear they were getting a new one though after I moved out so new tenants will appreciate that.
Avoid big corporate leasing companies like Holland LLC who own The Huxley. If you are not a low income MFTE renter you deserve better. MFTE renters do not partake in the shared sewer/garbage monthly bill averaging $270+ per month per non-MFTE house hold. Base Rent - shared sewer/garbage - and parking in a parking garage that was last broken into March of 2026 will cost you $2700 a month. I have never had an experience like the one I am having here. I recently moved from Phoenix, AZ. It has been a hard transition and I didn't know the different areas very well. I chose this property because it was central to everything and I could walk to different places. I was really excited to be here but it just hasn't been great. I recently toured The Huxley, and it was honestly our dream apartment! Even though it doesn’t have a ton of amenities, the huge party room really stood out. The building is pretty new, and the units are modern, spacious, and beautifully designed. Parking in the garage is limited, but there’s plenty of street parking nearby. Katie, the leasing manager, was amazing to work with—so kind, genuine, and never pushy. She made the whole experience easy and enjoyable.
