With a passion for creating happy people and our love of coffee, we opened our first drive-thru espresso stand in Ashland Oregon in 1998. The demand for convenient, quality coffee & espresso grew and soon after opening our original location in Ashland, we expanded to surrounding cities in Southern Oregon. The Human Bean quickly established a reputation for having friendly and experienced baristas and offering the highest quality ingredients.

Super nice people as always. Haven’t been to this location in a hot minute but other than my order being wrong and it being the sweetest most undrinkable coffee I’ve had in years here (I asked for a quarter sweet - less than half scoop of the flavor like I always do)… everything else was good. I’m sure if I weren’t a few blocks away when I tried my drink and threw it away that they would have remade it for me (if I were still there at the drive-thru). Best breakfast sandwiches and Cowboy Cold Brew. Staff is always friendly and fast. Drive thru is efficient. Stores are clean and well maintained. This is my go to coffee place.
