The Huckleberry is the only British tea room and restaurant in the Boulder area. Located in the heart of downtown Louisville, the restaurant is easy to find and an enjoyable diversion from wandering the other local shops and museums in the area. However, the popularity of the Huckleberry makes it difficult to just "pop in" without prior planning. The menu offers full British breakfasts and Colorado favorites alike, comfort food entrees served in the British style, and rich, freshly made desserts and wine for a full dining ex... read more

Great brunch place Louisville is a charming town, just topped the list of best small towns in America, and Huckleberry is a must stop when you're there. A kind of combination tea house, bakery, and country hash house (if that makes sense), it has a quirky but attractive, well-lit interior. Waitstaff is uniformly good. Stop in on a Sunday, but be prepared to wait a bit.
New development: Sound Pollution We have had overall good experiences here. I like the varied menu; it seems that there is a little something for everyone. They have several vegetarian options, which is nice for a change (lots of places have one token offering). They catered my retirement party, and it was good, plentiful and unexpectedly reasonably priced. Usually fairly good service. My only big complaint came from my last visit a couple of weeks ago: sound pollution! Too loud music, too obnoxious, too early. This is a dea... read more
Old fashioned comforts The Huckleberry is a popular brunch spot on weekends, which is no surprise. They have a great location, hearty food, varied high quality tea and dessert choices. If you are impatient or want a quick meal, you may want to try a chain restaurant. If you want good atmosphere, "real" people running the place and yummy food and drinks, Huckleberry may be for you. Weekend brunch aside, the wait is never long and there are innovative and delicious choices on the menu. The specialty seems to be the breakfast i... read more
Insulting Our first experience will be our last. My 3 friends joined me for lunch today. We could have overlooked the foul tasting ice tea, the questionable tarter sauce on our fish and slow service. However, half way through our meal, our waitress brought our bill and said we would need to finish in 10 minutes, as a large group for tea had reservations. The manager said she was new and he apologized, but there was no excuse for this type of degrading service. We all left with a knot in our stomachs. My worse dining experien... read more
Long time customer I've been going to the Huckleberry for about five years and it has varied a bit through them all. The atmosphere is awesome: comfortable, relaxed, homey, and cozy. You can even have tea in their small sitting room where they have three huge comfy chairs, which is great. The bathrooms are tiny and a bit smelly, but you can tell they do their best with it. The service varies with your server. The hostess they have had for about the past year is awful and rude. I'm almost scared of her. I've had servers bring... read more
Not quite what we expected My husband daughter and I went to The Huckleberry for breakfast this morning and I was very disappointed with our decision do go there. There was a long wait, but I guess that's expected on a Sunday around lunch time. When we were seated and the waiter came to get our drink order, we were all ready to order food. I ordered tea, their specialty, and it came with an unbelievably dirty glass - I couldn't believe they didn't catch that, it was a clear glass that was so filthy you couldn't see through i... read more
We got 4 dozen cupcakes for a birthday party from Huckleberry!! They were decorated beautifully. Each individual cupcake was delicious and perfectly presented. So many creative flavors. They were incredibly friendly and easy to work with.
