My mother and I are from Raleigh and Durham and we were visiting a friend close by. On our way out of town, We decided we wanted some seafood. I googled seafood near me and The House of Fish came up. I'm so happy we decided to go. I enjoyed the food, the wine and the atmosphere. It's perfect and quaint. We will go again on our next visit. Kudos to the chef �
The food and staff were spectacular. Back in the day you used to have to drive to Calabash to get good seafood, not anymore. I’ve found my new favorite seafood restaurant.
The house of fish has a great variety of delicious Seafood. Not only is the food really good but the owner has a heart of gold

Based on our first experience, I'm not sure we'll return. Grilled flounder & whiting were mushy and tasted like they were greasy. Soggy slaw & hush puppies weren't good either. Disappointed.
Oyster Burger,,YUMMY. dnd the Shrimp Tacos SUPER.
Lunch was spectacular, as always at The House Of Fish! Whole flounder with two sides for $10! You can't beat the food, staff or service here.
