Unfortunately the pool was closed the entire time we were here but it was nice otherwise
We tried to stay here a few days as part of our honeymoon and it was not what we were expecting at all. The room we got was dirty, old, and run down with poor quality appliances. We've stayed in basic chain hotels which are nicer and much cheaper. Management did seem nice and upgraded us to a bigger room but unfortunately it had all the same issues so we declined the upgrade and just canceled the rest of our stay. We also brought our dog and the fees were extremely high considering the rooms were already so dirty and unkept.... read more

A family member of mine was staying at the hotel, for the first time, for their birthday just the other day, in March, off-season. I called days ahead of time to inquire about setting up a special surprise for the room and was told to call back the day of check in. I called the day they checked in, at 10:52am, to request that a bottle of champagne and cookies be sent to the room so they'd have it as they checked in, 4:00pm. Had a fantastic stay at Hotel Viking! The staff were wonderful—friendly and attentive. Breakfast was delicious, and our server, Maureen, was especially kind and helpful with recommendations. A massage at the spa was the perfect ending to our trip, and the location made it easy to walk or drive to all the main attractions. Our room was on the smaller side but very cozy, with a comfortable bed and everything kept clean. Would definitely stay again!
