We are vacationing in the area and we were lucky to have found this delightful restaurant. We have now eaten here twice this week and both visits were superb. We were also very lucky to have Micha as our waitperson. We were so impressed with Micha on our first visit, we requested her again. And I do not want to forget, Paula, the hostess on duty. Paula was pleasant and welcoming. The Hotel Tavern is definitely our go to restaurant anytime we are visiting in the area.
The food was delicious and the service was great.
Especially enjoy the Crab Dip and the French Dip. My wife says they have the best Coconut Shrimp she’s ever had.

Great place, excellent food, super friendly staff. First discovered this several years ago when we were renting a cabin near West Jefferson. Now we stay in Seven Devils for at least a month every summer but we still drive over to eat at The Hotel Tavern

Dined with these fine folks twice during our week-long visit to the area. Very good food, great conversation, awesome service (Bryan), and met the owners. Highly recommended trying them out....they won’t disappoint!
Wonderful dinner and entertainment last night and I love the dog friendly dining! new in town but this is already my favorite place to eat and hang out.
