What a view from sophies .great menu and wine list
Me and my gf came for a night and we were pleasently suprised by this gem in downtown Providence.Great atmosphere,the room was nice and clean although we didnt spend long time in it because of the great location (everything was in walking distance)we had the chance to go and enjoy the nightlife of Providence.The shoping Mall is also very close.Cant wait to come back next time.
We stayed in Providence just so we could stay at The Dean....and we loved every minute of it! (Well, every minute except when cleaning up after a shower with no doors :-) ) We stayed in the 'classmates' room and it was fun having one's own bunk....with lovely cotton sheets and cotton blankets. The valet parking was a bit of a surprise, but very convenient, and as room rates are reasonable, it was not a hardship. really enjoyed our experience at the Dean. family of four (adults) stayed in the "classmates" room, very comfortable. loved all the details; the bedding was wonderful, as were the toiletries (thank you for using refillable pump bottles for shampoo, etc). the staff was super friendly. had a great cappuccino at Bolt Coffee downstairs; grabbing a nightcap at the Magadalenae Room was a lovely way to end an evening. Stayed here for the JWU commencement ceremonies and LOVE LOVE LOVED IT!!!! The only thing I missed was an ice machine but the great staff and beautiful building mitigated all that.
