I just visited The Hotel Chalet and I was so impressed! I received a tour of the property from Dian Buckley, who was a wonderful tour guide and host. Now that the hotel is privately owned, it has never looked and felt better. The traditional train car rooms are beyond splendid, providing a unique experience. Dian explained that the hotel just earned its first Michelin Key, putting the hotel in the position to become a world-wide destination. I have booked the hotel for a getaway with my wife. I'm so excited!
We had a lovely stay here at Hotel Chalet. The room was reasonably priced for our one night stay and the location was great since there were plenty of local restaurant options within walking distance (I highly recommend Elise’s Daughter right next to the hotel). The bed was very comfortable and the room was clean. The bathroom felt very elegant. We are having an amazing experience at Hotel Chalet! We have one of the suites in the main part of the hotel with floor to ceiling windows overlooking the courtyard with white lights strung across it. The suite has been recently renovated with a cozy and retro feel. There is nothing we would change. Dian and the staff are wonderful and accommodating.
