We stayed in one of the train cars. While it was a unique experience, plan to keep your curtains sealed up the entire time. People can see right in. Our “car” was right at the rec area and people were out late and up close to the windows (where our bed was). No one did anything bad or wrong. It was just to “communal” for me. Apparently it is a dog friendly area. We heard several dogs barking during our stay. Including an annoying one in the car next to us. The room itself was neat, very clean and up to date.
The Hotel Chalet is officially our favorite hotel in Chattanooga. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel welcome. Everyone was genuinely friendly, helpful, and seemed to take pride in creating a great guest experience. The hotel itself is beautiful. The décor and color palette are thoughtfully designed, creating a space that feels both stylish and relaxing. The hotel is beautiful and so unique. In this day of “cookie cutter” hotels, this one stands out! I had dinner at Elsie’s daughter. The food was delicious and my server Jodi was amazing. 10 out of 10 recommend! I was here for a convention and the Hotel Chalet is conveniently located close to the convention center.
I Don’t stay at the Hotel but we talked with Dian and she’s so nice person, she gives us a tour around the hotel and the history about the hotel.
