I rented from the Horton Company for over three years before buying a home with absolutely no issues. They were always quick to respond and take care of any issues i had during that time. The staff was always knowledgeable and friendly. I also understand a management company should be firm but fair in their management of properties and this should be understood by other parties. I paid my rent on time and took care of the property and they took care of me...as it should be. I would rent from them again if needed.

This is the worst company ever. We unfortunately have to use them to manage our property...manage is definitely not what they do. They authorized repairs without permission, don't call back, rent is due at the beginning of the month and we don't receive it until the very last week of the month. Awful company to deal with. Save yourself and go elsewhere! !

This is by far the WORSE property manager available in Columbia. They are unprofessional, rude, and never return phone calls. They told my tenants that I wanted them out of my home when I didn't tell them to "evict" my tenants. Then the went on to try to sign another lease with her for another property. The owner is loud and rude, they have no concept of customer service. They charged me for a repair that my tenant said never happened. DO NOT USE....FIND ANOTHER COMPANY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! LIES LIES LIES I Tried to rent a house from Horton last year and was approved but turned down do to a family Emergency in P.A. First they said NO PETS but speaking with the owner who said they did and told Horton to fix that. I would never recommend this company. Completely dishonest Realtors/Property Managers who lie to your face. They told me a property was available so I drove a 1/2 hour to get the keys and bring them back. I wanted the house and had the money to put a deposit/application fee to reserve to house. I was told to come back tomorrow because they were closing soon and too lazy to process the paperwork and take money.
