I wanted to give a huge shout out to the lady Mikel that works in the paint dept. She was so wonderful yesterday when I was buying green paint for my son. He couldn’t choose one color and wanted all three on his paint card he picked. So we got 3 sample size greens for him. She was very sweet and talked to him through the whole process and showed him the machine that adds the color and how even though the colors had yellow and black it would be green. Don’t purchase carpet from Aberdeen Home Depot. The company they contract with to do their installations, Romanoff Renovations, has an installer that refused to move furniture that was agreed upon when the appointment was scheduled. His exact words were “I’m not doing any more work than what I have to” and left. Took his manager almost FIVE hours to return my call.
My fiance went there to buy a couple space heaters for our apartment and was told by one of your employees to come back with her husband or father because she obviously didn't know what she was looking for. Way to be stuck the 1950s guys. Needless to say she took her business elsewhere since he decided to be rude and condescending instead of helping.
The Aberdeen Home Depot is AWESOME! I love going there. The people are always willing to help, even when I was facing the dismantling of someone else's jury-rigging.
tonight at about 4:30 I drove my parents truck to Aberdeen store. where my dad bought my mom a new kitchen range. none of us was able to put it in the truck and finally one guy shows up. I mention none of us could help. my father is a heart patient I recently tore my rotator cuff. this medium built says he will try it alone well in doing so my father and I had to jump in and help him before he dropped it. only get a fair rating because of the GREAT lady in returns, we just bought a home and it needs some high priced items, paid over 1700 for fence materials, the a dishwasher another 400 and so on now we are into the $6000 mark from three trips, since we couldnt get it all home in 1 or even 2,, well we where not told about the %10 ALL YEAR LONG veterans discount, lady in returns did two receipts and was told NO! we cant do it with the other 3( refund would be about 300) because it was printed on "contractor list",i asked if he... read more
