There is never anyone one around to assist you and most recently I called to speak to someone named Bob in their kitchen cabinet department about ordering cabinets for our kitchen remodel. After leaving two messages over a week I finally called the Home Depot in Golden. The gentleman in their kitchen cabinet department was attentive and helpful so I'll be using the Golden store moving forward.
Both my husband and myself on multiple and separate occasions have experience the most rude and obnoxious employees that we’ve ever had the displeasure to come across. To the point where they will not even acknowledge that you are in the store and you can’t find anybody in the isles to help you because they’re all hanging out in the front of the store talking to each other. We spent $10,000 on 4 Milgard replacement windows. We paid in June and they finally came in October-8 weeks later than promised because someone forgot to order them. First wind/snow storm and SNOW BLEW into the house through the new windows and one window was too big so they cut the opening and now the window is not centered. Be sure you buy the extended warranty on any products you purchase from Home Depot. They convince you to purchase higher end appliances because they will last. We thought they would last longer than 2 months but they didn’t and of course Home Depot said sorry you didn’t buy the extended warranty. Work through GE for a brand new appliance. We have been using Home Depot stores for a quite a bit of remodeling. Their service just continues to go downhill, this is just the latest example. There is no hope. We had some serious issues regarding a $12k home window job. After we cancelled the job, cancelled the credit, dealt with the resulting credit issues, and now have to postpone getting the work done until after winter, we received no response or acknowledgement or any kind from Home Depot.
