Love the fact Home Depot is veteran and military friendly and was pleasantly surprised to see so many parking spots reserved for our active military and veterans. Each parking space was being utilized to the utmost. It was nice to see the support!!
Went to Home Depot for the 10:00am tile class yesterday. Waited for 15 minutes and nobody showed up, even after we asked a sales associate who said he would go and check. Very disappointed. I was looking forward to learning tile techniques, but all I got was learning how to wait patiently so I've got that going for me.
My daughter and I came in tonight and Andrew in the lumber department was more thank helpful. Usually when I've walked into this department I do usually get the customer service I recorded tonight! He gave us ideas, showed me around and what different types of wood we could use for the different signs that we make. He didn't rush us or make us feel stupid because we asked a lot of questions. I’d like to thank Eric for the help he provided me about a week ago. I needed a length of conduit cut to size. He very nicely walked over to the plumbing dept. to use their pipe cutter. But the cutter was out of order & there was no indication as to when it would be fixed. Undeterred, Eric went to find a hacksaw & proceeded to saw the pipe by hand. I really appreciate him taking the time & effort to do that for me so I wouldn’t have to wait & come back. Many thanks, Eric!!!
