Horrible experience. Poor salesmanship, poor customer service, no apologies extended. A bunch of young people who don't care and are poorly managed. I'll never use the Wendover branch again. Albermarle or University only!!! Wendover - you've got some work to do to get my business back!
RecommendedA HD employee at the Wendover store went above & beyond in helping me straighten out a messed up special order from HD.com. Destini deserves special recognition for multiple phone calls to me, to the online people and for her conscientious follow up. A great job!
I bought a washer/ dryer and it was delivered July 7th and they said oh you don’t have a stacking kit and left without installing it. So I drove to the Wendover location and the sales associate said the stacking kit should be in the dryer. I drive home and low and behold there it is. So I call and there going to come hook it up that Friday the 10th, great until I get a call there’s a family emergency and they can’t come. Ok fine life happens. Totally disgusted that almost all employees were without masks at this Charlotte location. If that’s an indication of how the corporation thinks of and cares for its customers, I’ll be shopping at Lowe’s from now on.
Do not rent tools in this store, they dont really work as they are in bad shape and we returned them as soon as we tried them but still got charged full price! Total scam
These are the pictures form the incorrect installation on my washer/dryer. I have been attempting to work with the Home Depot for months to get a replacement, and to get my home repaired. 7 attempted deliveries later, and they have still done nothing. Here are some pictures of the damage to my home. Unit was not leveled. It walked across the floor and almost into my refrigerator.
