John, the assistant manager at the Home Depot in Glen Allen, just made my day, maybe even my whole week! My husband and I just got back to Virginia (from Florida) on Saturday night to celebrate Christmas with our grandsons, 5 and 4. I am sitting in Hope Depot as we speak. My order for kitchen appliances has been totally screwed up. I have a girl working really hard trying to help me but things should have never gotten this bad. Only been told what they can't do not what they can do. I'll keep you posted
Drove out to short pump to buy air conditioner units and got all the way back home with the unit in a box like it was brand new and opened the box and we had an obviously used unit that was also filthy. Really appreciated driving all that way and back and lugging a very heavy item inside only to find this out. Called customer service and the rep was fairly uninterested and is in serious need of someone to retrain her in acting professionally. This is my favorite Home Depot. The paint department people are the best. I live downtown but will make the drive to Short Pump when I need paint. It's refreshing to go in a "big box" store with employees who consistently deliver good customer service.
