I have always purchased my appliances from Home Depot. Never again. Although Lowe's & Livingoods in Savannah aren't as convenient, those businesses will now be my go-to spot for appliances. I purchased a washer which was delivered Wednesday Sept. 28. It stopped working late Friday. I called Saturday & gave all the info I was required to give - multiple times; made an appointment to have Maytag repair person come between 8AM-noon Monday. Had a terrible experience at Home Depot today. Normally the staff is very eager to help you, but that was not the case today. All I needed was someone to help me find the hardware needed for a medicine cabinet. Instead I just got aggravated and left $200 + merchandise sitting in a shopping cart.
Richard in electrical was very helpful. Found what I wanted and told me how to use it.
I have old paint, and old tile adhesive purchased in Savannah @ your store. Looking online says some Home Depot stores recycle paint. Upon calling the Pooler, Ga. Home Depot just minutes ago and talking to the paint dept. 12:43 p, 4/3/2015 912-748-1642 I was informed that NO, Home Depot does not recycle paint, & does not know of a Home Depot that does, and does not know of a place that recycles in our area. I purchased a brand new washing machine in Hime depot and the washing machine broke after 2 months , they gave me a phone number to call they came after a week to fix the machine, after 20 days the machine broke again and I called again and it took the repair company three weeks to check the machine and now it has been six weeks and sill they have not repaired the machine, they don't want to replace the broken machine and hey tell me I have to wait.
