Went in to get some electrical cable cut for a project and instead got lectured by one of the workers about I should be doing my project. Don’t get me wrong, I’m open to feedback and advice, but he was just refusing to give me what I asked for without talking down to me. Idk as a woman doing work like this I’m used to being talked down to, but this was definitely worse than most. My advice is go to the Lowe’s if you don’t wanna get mansplained
HD is generally pretty good. Oftentimes, it is really busy and difficult to check out. About 15% of the time they won't have what I need in stock. The employees are always helpful, but not necessarily very polite.
We had a 5 star experience with Tom from the shower/bathroom team in Bend. He was helpful in picking out the right parts, very kind, and gave clear instructions on how to assemble our new shower equipment. We really appreciate you, Tom! And you were right -- we did it! :)
I feel so bad for these poor cashiers the same 2 I see. There is always 1 cashier at the pro side and one that’s at the self check and that’s it. Management needs to do better at hiring and keeping their cashiers! These cashiers are always being yelled at or never receiving any help after many calls to a manager. It is honestly sad to see them get treated like this cashiers are the most important part of the business one of the first and last people you see in the store. Bend Home Depot you need to do better!
