Although home depot has seasoned associates but this time the guy who filled the order was a low character. The ladder he brought had some mud on its legs which I noticed after he had left. So I told the counter person I will pick another one. This person sees me picking another ladder and says that " you know I know what kind of thing you can get in the country you are from" I have heard this kind of remark for the first time is US and I have been here for 20 years . NEVER EVER order appliances (dishwasher, washer, dryer) and expect their installers to install them!!!! They were here to make the installation and said they couldn't install the dishwasher, because the floor wasn't flush, even though the dishwash comes out... they left with ALL 3 appliances still on the truck, saying nothing to me. Not that they were leaving, not that they would install the washer & dryer, NOTHING!!!!!! NEVER EVER deal with Home Depot and their contracted installers. Me & my husband like the Edison store compare to other stores closer in our area. The employees there are friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, the last experience is getting on our nerve. We bought kitchen appliances like a bundle package (all 4) the delivery of which was tomorrow, Aug 3 but due to back order it got delayed for 2 more weeks. I paid my contractor to install all 4, contractor can't wait that long and Home Depot said they will charge for installation which comes out to $500 some bucks. It's so upsetting that yo... read more
