Ordered 120 80lb bags of concrete from the Albany Home Depot for a job Wednesday(7/22). Supposed to be delivered today(7/18), they call me at 2pm and tell me their truck broke down and they can not make my delivery. Oh no prob I gave myself lead time with equipment and help. Then they tell me they can not deliver my stuff until Thurdays(7/23). I say that's not gonna work I already have equipment rented and everything. They say sorry not sorry. Rant. I paid 4k at Albany Home Depot for deck materials July 3rd to be delivered last Friday the 10th.. no delivery and no phone call. So I called and they switched the date to today. I confirmed Monday and they said I should cancel my order because they wouldnt be able to fulfill it. 45 minutes later they still had difficulty refunding me my money. They printed a "reciept" and sent me away. I called today to see where my refund was.. they said they delivered half the materials in front of my house this morning. Not the righ... read more

Went in for some plywood and as I was headed down the isle a worker cut me off and block the isle off. When I went to another coworker asking for some help and they were no help. Customer service sucked.

Ordered a work bench and needed it asap and it was delivered to the store on the 18th but called today and found out it was there but no one called as we were told they would. Albany is not close and we were just there yesterday. Frustrating to know we now have to drive that 20 miles in again today. No follow through. So it was there 6 days ago and we were not told.

My husband was in yesterday to buy lumber for a new barn. He couldn’t find a cart and when he did, he asked an employee for help finding, loading onto the carts (he needed three), and getting to the check out. He was told that they were too busy and couldn’t. We are there almost every other weekend buying things to accommodate our farm. If he wasn’t using a Home Depot card that day, he would’ve went elsewhere. Very disappointed and won’t be back unless necessary.

Hire folks in your garden center that actually know something about gardening, dirt, pots and plants. Terrible service, useless and clueless help. From the gal at the cashier stand in the garden center, to the older gentleman who walked me around everywhere looking for a small bag of dirt. Not helpful, either one of them, totally clueless and didn't even think to ask someone else to get the answers I wanted. Both were very ineffective. I left frustrated.
