Terrible experience at Home Depot in El Cerrito. Ordered (and paid for!) a window AC unit online, and the website said pickup in store today. I left work early, drove 30min worth, only to arrive, wait in a long line, to hear that not only do they not have that AC unit in stock, but they have not had ANY window units ALL YEAR. The clerk apparently knew this for several hours and did not call me to let me know not to come out. She was also rude and unhelpful. Obviously nobody from home depot sees these posts but I'm going to vent anyway. Husband was asked if he found what he needed and told the guy no. The small tool belts were not on the rack. associate goes to get some. 10 minutes later husband finds the guy helping someone else in another isle. Asks where the belt is. Well, after you drive through the dump they call a parking lot. Navigate around the day labors, trash and hauling trucks, you can't find a place to park because they (HD) doesn't employ anyone to gather carts. Once you enter the store there are well dressed people who follow you around to tell you about what HD has to offer homeowners. Once you get to the section of the store you need something from, it's out of stock, located on the top rack or you can't get to the aisle because the fork lift is there.
