I’m just coming from the Home Depot located at 600 Hempstead Turnpike in Elmont, and my encounter with an employee was very distasteful! She was very rude, disrespectful and unprofessional. She is a black female in her late twenties early thirties, short hair with red highlights. She has no business in customer service with that kind of behavior.
There are some workers who are excellent and then you have the ones that laugh at customers in a rude way . I was taught that the customer is always right. Most of the people that work there do not get that concept. A female worker that says I can talk back to you sis. I do not in any way think it’s appropriate to call a customer sis . No one ever picks up the phone!!
Went on September 3rd to purchase new appliances. Had gone to valley stream store the day before and had bad experience. Could t get any help there. So decided to try Elmont store. Experience was great the woman working in appliances was great. That’s where my good experience ends. This past Friday they were delivered. I purchased a smart fridge that keeps freezing and a stove that the hot surface light has been on since the delivery person turned the stove on. It won’t go off. pick up the phone. called several times hanging 15 mins or more.
just came back from your store . I purchased the garden soil at 5 bags for $10....When I went to pay for it I offered my Veterans card for a 10% discount. The girl told me the discount is not good on sale items purchases. Naturally I questioned it because I never had this problem. She apologized but told me again that the Vets get no discount on any items that are on sale. I paid said thank you and told her I am done with Home Depot.
I love the free kids classes and so does my son
