I live in knoxville tn, i was looking for a husky pad or clipboard for our business. Well our area stores were no help, the had 15 at this store ( Ashville NC). I asked the local store to get these we can not help the store is in a different district basically. So this pissed me off, were is the customer service. I had called 1st because I saw a post that Home Depot was not still giving Veterans discount. The customer service representative said nothing had changed. We made our purchase and got the discount no problem. I hope this is offered to all Veterans, no restrictions. Please, if you have to make cuts, find another way, please!!!! As a wife of a veteran, I can't tell you how it affects the Veterans to have a benefit taken away. Even if you think it is small or no big deal. Believe me, it is HUGE!!!
I had a gift card for $471. It was scanned on January 14th by the Asheville, NC store, and showed to have that amount. On January 16th Home Depot deactivated the card WITH NO EXPLANATION. Tried to get a reason from 2 stores, never responded when they said they would. Wrote an email to the home office. The young man was very cordial, but insisted they could not tell me a reason. Horrible customer service. Purchased an LG washer that stopped working after a few loads. Home depot is refusing to take it back and trying to get us to go through LG. Repair man came out who said the clutch and transmission was bad, among other things. Clearly sold us a defective unit that didn't even last 1 week. Do not shop at home depot acton circle!
