I would like the commend the service people (Rick) at the Ankeny Home Depot. (Others also whose name I do not know) I ordered a window through Home Depot. It was sent to Nebraska instead of Ankeny, Iowa. My window finally arrived today, two month from the order date. Words cannot express my frustration with the window company. The service staff at Home Depot were great and assisted me greatly.
We love it here. My son got a sucker for being cute. Thanks for the great service! We love the kids crafts for my eldest kiddo!
I ordered appliances online, two full appliance packages, was told they were going to be delivered on July 15. Nobody showed up on July 15 so I called the Ankeny store and they told me they were still on their way. Nobody ever came so I called the 800-number the next day and they now tell me that they got pushed back to August 26 however nobody ever communicated that with me and I have a closing for July 24 that I will now lose $200,000 on. Recently had a new washer and dryer installed. Delivery company had a problem so the store manager Jason arranged everything to be done next day. Some Home Depot employees became involved and they greatly exceeded our expectations. They are friendly, knowledgeable, and customer focused. It’s the Home Depot from now on for me!!
Ordered quartz countertops August 15 and paid completely for them. Was told it would be a couple weeks and installer would contact us when they arrived. No one contacted us after several weeks in October we contacted Home Depot. Said they would check no call back. I called again next day and she said she forgot. Some of the worst customer service I have ever experienced. Damaged my carpet. Told me about it the day before delivery after I had already confirmed delivery an hour before with no mention. The manger that I spoke with talked down to me and did little to fix the issue. Sent out part of my carpet to be installed even though the rest would not match and told me it would be fine. I am at the Ankeny Home Depot at least two times a week. Everyone is helpful and knowledgeable. They always walk me to the aisle I am needing and answer all my questions. When I am ready to check out someone always offers to load the truck for me. Great place to shop!
Ordered an entire new kitchen from Home Depot in Ankeny. Took 3 weeks to arrange for someone to do the order. Have been without a kitchen for nearly 2 months and still the project is not done. Worst experience ever. Would never do this again with this company.
