Honestly no one wants to work or help you out went to menards all the way in gurnee before I even made it to right department was greater by numerous associates asking if I need assistance
This store is getting so bad. No cashiers long lines and then you try to use self check outs and they end up not working right! I understand needing to try and save on overhead costs, but to the extent of losing customers???!!!!! Makes no sense to me!!! I'm going to your competitor to get my lumber.
I am becoming increasingly more disenchanted with Home Depot. They have less and less cashiers on duty which makes the check out times longer and longer. I understand they need to do this to save on payroll but for the consumer, it sucks. They did open up self checkout lines. Great! Except, if you have items without barcodes (i.e. Nuts, bolts washers, etc) you have to wait for a cashier anyway. Had a big mishap with paint for a customer. Was extremely happy with the customer service received to help fix this - thank you Jerry (STORE MANAGER) & PAINT DEPT. 10++++++(
One of the worst Home Depots ever recently got even worse. They closed all the cashier lines and force everyone to go through the self service check out aisles with one guy to assist. Long lines have forced me to go to the HD in Gurnee.
