Purchased a double stove and fridge, delivery date was moved without notice from 12/28 to 1/3, scheduled off to be home for delivery, no reminder calls about change date, nothing!!
Went to buy mums...had a carriage full but when I got to the register the checkout person said the decorative containers are extra. Problem is, they had a lot of mums in decorative containers, a lot, inside and outside the garden center. However, not one sign, that I saw, mentioned an extra charge for the decorative container. False advertising?
I needed a piece of PVC pipe cut so I could get it inside the car. The first employee said 'go ask at the service desk.' Guy at the service desk says, 'I'll get someone to help you.' A few minutes later, he comes over and says, 'She's paging someone for you.' 10 minutes later, a few in orange aprons arrive.I could be wrong, but I got the feeling they were waiting to punch out. I deliver there all the time and if I get better than a 3% tip it's a miracle. Even right before holidays. They're cheap, and always complain. I wouldn't trust anything they sell at this one.
Rushed out of my driveway at 9:48pm going to make it to Home Depot Trumbull before the closed at 10pm so I could get my plumbing done tonight before my new counters are installed tomorrow. Needed some PVC plumbing. Got there with 6 minutes to spare. Got my supplies, headed to self checkout when I reached for my wallet and grabbed an empty pocket! Damn! Left my wallet at home! Just learned that the Lowes 5% matching discount was continued. Boo! Instead a new gas rewards program is in place.... Hardly a consolation, more of an inconvenience. I'll be using my scissors tonight.
