Was told for weeks that was to early for woodstove fire proof rugs. Now they tell us they never carry them. But they sell wood and pellet stoves.
Why is it that there is always a new kid in the department where the items are expensive and they have no sell abilities? He sent us to the Customer Service department where there was another New person that has been there just a week. A supervisor helped her and half way through the transaction the supervisor passed it to another person just as slow. We spent about an hour or so. Really? They left my wife to carry a full-size wooden door the length of the store while also balancing my 10-month old son on her hip. This after she had asked twice if there was anyone available to come with her to help, and was unable to find anyone in the surrounding aisles.
Was outta stock on few things. Staff wasn't really knowledgeable , on products. Wasn't impressed to say the least..
Made an online purchase, not only did they charge me MORE through paypal they also charged me twice and both for the wrong amounts...called paypal to fix it they got homedepot on the phone and they said they would fix it and call or email me with what happened...never got fixed and they didnt call and to top it off my husband went to pick up the order and they tried to charge him for it AGAIN!!!! we will be going to lowes from now on
I purchased 28 boxes of Pergo from Home Depot Merrimack and they are sitting in my dining room gathering dust. I hired Home Depot to install it but their subcontractor was incompetent, arrived late on a Friday, did not speak English and did not install the laminate, their excuse was vague. American Carpet (the company that hires the subcontractors) was useless and said "nothing can go in there except carpet and I happen to have a selection of carpet."
