The first rule of retail is Customer Service=The customer is always right. It is never right to interject your personal opinion about a customers reasons for shopping, nor is it proper customer service to insult and disrespect a customer. Your employee "Joe" did both of those things to a customer. When we have the option to shop at Lowe's, or Ace Hardware, it's in the best interest of Home Depot to properly deal with rude employee's like Joe.
The incident earlier today needs to be dealt with. Your employee named Joe had no right to insert himself into a conversation that a friend of mine was having with another employee about animal welfare. He did this for the sole purpose of mocking him and making fun of the animal suffering that they were discussing. Is Joe a good example of the kind of employee that you want to be working there? I would hope not.
Your employee, Joe, threatened my friend Ryan and mocked him. Please deal with this.
Earlier today, your employee, Joe, the self proclaimed “unapologetic carnivore” was extremely rude to one of your regular customers, Ryan Phillips. Ryan is a well-known animal rights activist. Joe approached Ryan just for the purpose of insulting him and bullying him. Joe needs disciplinary action. You will be hearing from more of us. Be prepared.

Overall this is a standard big box store, no major complaints except one. This store will not enforce their ‘loading only’ area in front of the main entrance, and when I purchase something large/heavy I ofetn have to wait to load it into my truck because the loading area is blocked by people who are parked there while shopping for things they can carry out in a bag - and very often kt’s contractors. As I write this today they cant help a customer load items into their truck because the road is blocked.
I loved home Depot, been shopping there for 20+ years until I saw this post...Please explain how the picture I'm not allowed to post here happened. It's of a young black woman running a register for your business wearing a ball cap that states " America Was Never Great"!!!! Please tell me it's a fake.
Took a class last Thursday with Nancy. She was wonderful and I have a new friend!
