If you're trying to improvise anything this isn't the store for you. They have huge isles devoted to ordinary hardware but they don't pay attention to like items so that nuts, bolts and washers of a given size and grade aren't together! Their selection of round stock and tubing is PITIFUL! They have square bars right next to square tubing and the bar is 1/64" too big to fit in the tube. This means that the tubing can't be used as a guideway for the bar! It's this lack of imagination that typifies home depot.

If I ever wanted a retail job where I could ignore every customer I see, I would work here.
What a joke. My review of the store was rejected cause it didn't "meet guidelines". I guess if you don't say what they want to hear, they reject it. So in other words, lie to make them feel better. If you want to improve your store/sales- be open to honest feedback!
