Installation projects. Horrible experience.
I went in with my 73 year old mother and we had to 8 pieces of lattice we had to pack through the store while several staff members walked by us never asking if we needed help. we also had ten sheets of osb and 2 by 4s. We had to ask three times in order to get anyone to help us get it off the shelf and that's all they did. They didn't take it to our truck or even offer. I have never seen such lazy staff, leaning on the counters talking to each never even acknowledging one customer.

Went in the HD store and was asked by three or more workers if I needed help. Purchased a portable evaporative cooler and the employee started it for me and went over opreative procedures, very helpful. Was the last one left, was the display model. Very satisfied will be coming back.
I like HD better than the other places. I especially like some of their products that I use for my small business, like Behr paints and stains and Henry roof products. People try to be helpful, but there seem to be a lot of new people around who don't always know what they are doing. It helps to know what you want and check carefully when you get it.
