Went in yesterday to order a new kitchen countertop, was told 2 weeks after contractor came to measure (was hinted measuring would be quick). Contractor called today, 2-3 weeks before they can measure, approx 3 weeks to manufacture counter top, then they'll schedule the installation. So a little over 2 weeks has turned into almost 8 weeks!!! Dept manager Mike S was absolutely no help. DO NOT purchase from Home Depot unless you want to be lied to!!!
Be careful with product install from Home Depot. It’s a vendor company with only one install tech for carpets per area and they cancel the night before with No back up tech. Home Depot provides the services but doesn’t take responsibility for when their vendor doesn’t provide the service.
My week electric hot water tank dies go and buy a new one at The Home depot pay good money and purchase a extended warranty on Tuesday and to be jerk around here on Thursday, to just get jerked around from everyone between Rheem, the Seekonk Home Depot store and The Home depot extended warranty plan I paid extra to have for protection to having hot water yea really should just drop my laundry now and grab my ankles!!!!!!!!
Horrendous customer service. I purchased a dangerous Dyna-Glo gas grill, tried to find out how to return it and couldn't get a manager to see me. Hasn't worked correctly since the first day I bought it. Hope Depot doesn't stand behind the products they sell. Who's in charge at the Seekonk Home Depot?
DONT use the Rustoleum or Behr product of Deck Over. We wasted the money to buy product that neither the store or supplier stand by. It was NOT in the appliqué of the product. We replaced the whole deck since it was peeling everywhere after 4 months and no refund of product. Just saw on Judge Judy a contractor bring sued after using the same product from Home Depot and same result. PEELING after 7 months. These products say a at least a 20 year warranty. NOPE
I have to say Home Depot came through. The carpet lady came and measured (loved having a woman) at 7 am and just got an email at 8:30 am with the estimate. After yesterday's no show it has renewed my feelings about the store.
It was 4 ppl in the customer service area and I finally said will someone help me???...i was trying to pay for my stuff,100 bucks and I left it once and came back,and they were still taking long to check out...
Went into purchase a lawnmower. The salesgirl was very helpful, and friendly, but didn't know anything about lawnmowers. There were so many to pick from, and I didn't feel like I was making an informed choice. She went to get help. She brought back immune from plumbing, who shared that he didn't know anything about lawnmowers. I then went to Lowe's, where a seasoned salesman brought me down the entire line of lawnmowers, with a verbal narrative on each one. Together we pick the best one.
