Bob in Tool Rental/Repair provided *outstanding* customer service this evening when we brought our mower in for repair! He was incredibly helpful, knowledgeable, and friendly; you can tell he genuinely enjoys what he does and takes pride in both his skills and his service to customers. He's definitely an asset to this location. Even if you're just looking for advice on what to rent or purchase, he's the guy to ask!
8:00 PM close time, and the employees yell "we closed" as you approach the doors. Yeah...guess I'll buy my shit elsewhere.
While doing most of our remodeling we usually shop at Lowe's and here is just another reason why... Saturday we ran to Home Depot to purchase some items and mainly because we have hundreds of $$$'s in Home Depot gift cards to use. Apparently, the system was down that day and we couldn't use them. I get things happen but again the guy was unapologetic, unaccommodating and actually rude about it. Gene, the lock guy, is a bigot, and isn't afraid to voice his dissatisfaction with Spanish instructions printed on a product he should know how to use. You lost my current and future business, Gene. The "funny" thing is, he wasn't reading the instructions; he was looking at the pictures.
Don't count on prompt delivery of anything. Was given a 1-5 delivery window. At 3 they called to say they'd be late, likely between 5 and 6. I called at 6 and the rep said they are running late at will to my house sometime that evening. Finally showed up at 7. Update...the delivery guys broke my drain pipe and when I called to address the issue, they tried to schedule a repair for the following week.
Absolutely terrible customer service in the paint department. Worker was in the bathroom for 15 minutes and no one else was able to help us. He also conveniently forgot his radio. We walked out without purchasing our stain.
I don't like the store offices are not as good as West Bend. They are open longer there.
always buy my annuals at Home Depot every year. My daughter bought me a dahlia plant there this year for Mother's Day and it died for some unknown reason. I have never had any plants die that I have purchased there in the past. I took the plant back to Home Depot and they refused to take it back. The manager did not even come to me and discuss the matter with me face to face. The plant may have been diseased for all I know. I will not be buying my plants there anymore as apparently they do not stand behind their products.
