This HD does not care about customers or community safety. While HD and Punta Gorda city policies require masks, neither the HD personnel nor a large fraction of the customers wear masks to protect against the spread of Covid19. In one shopping trip we saw over 4 employees without masks and more than 15 customers with no masks. In the early evening it is sometimes worse. Home Depot Punta Gorda does not care about your safety. Punta Gorda government just enacted an ordinance requiring people to wear masks to protect against coronavirus when inside a public facility. I just went to Home Depot and many customers and employees were not wearing masks. When I asked why HD doesn't require masks or no entry in compliance with the ordinance, I was told that HD is not the police. Very few customers and very few workers were wearing face coverings, including the lady doing the counting at the entrance. Shame on Home Depot. Need to find salt for my water softener at another store.
