How I got Screwed at Yuba City Home Depot! To start things out, I went to Yuba City Home Depot over the weekend and went in to buy all the supplies for a new fence install. There customer service needs improvement terribly , it's either non existent or rude . It's so frustrating I just want them to drop off the part and I'll have my dad install . This issue has been going on for 4 months with home depot .
Bought a refrigerator from these guys and bought a two year warranty. My ice maker broke on my $2000 fridge so i called to get it fixed. They gave me a number to the warranty place and they wanted my receipt, I didn't know where it was and they said I never bought one, if I did they would have a copy of the transaction. I have called the Yuba City Ca. Home Depot 7 times within the last 45 minutes, phone just keep ringing and ringing...it rings for sooooo long, the call gets dropped, you end up hearing the dial tone..AGAIN....When you get their recording, you know where H.D. claims YOU are very important to them, thanking you for your patience....let's see, bet I have heard that at least 20 times, sure glad we are very important to them....Let me guess...I am the only that has been through this with them right???????
Had what we needed, an air purifier. They had only one checkstand open, except for self service, and this was for contractors. Everybody had to be funneled to this one checkstand. Noticed a lot of the clerks walked with their head down, as if they were avoiding eye contact. Two large orders in front of us and one of them was having trouble. Either no one else able to check out customers, or nobody had the authority to call for help. This is lousy, unacceptable customer service.
