Because my veteran husband gets hassled whenever he tries to use his earned veteran’s discount. One time he was told he didn’t looked disabled enough. On top of that the discount only applies to the cheaper items. He goes to Lowe’s, shows his card, gets his discount on ALL items and is ALWAYS thanked for his service. This is my normal Home Depot where I go for anything and everything. Overall it's a good experience. Today I was shopping for an arbor for my garden. I didn't have any luck finding one and thought maybe they just didn't have them in season yet. I decided to just buy the few items in my cart and go home. I used the register in garden area. The cashier asked me if I found everything ok and so I asked her if they had any arbors somewhere in the store. She didn't know what an arbor was.
