We had a terrible experience at Hilltop. The service was okay. The food was terrible. The salmon was so over cooked that it was crispy. The collards tasted like they were from a can and the sweet potato was bland and boring. They didn't even look like sweet potatoes, The color was barely pink. We were celebrating our 32nd anniversary and we were disappointed.

The food was great! But, the service was horrible. We had a reservation for 6pm and it took 2 hours for our food to arrive. The manager acted like we were bothering her when we asked why it is taking so long for our food. When the food finally arrived not everyone got there food so we couldn't even start eating dinner together...We spoke with the manager again and she walked away from our table while we were still talking to her. This restaurant hosted various family gatherings since I was a boy. The service and food are top notch!

They were out of 2 IPA's my husband ordered, came back to me and told me they were out of escargot, not the same as the other times we visited.
