(crossposted from NW apartments, the parent company) Our first couple of years at Northwest Apartments (specifically, 1616 E howell) were relatively uneventful, minus one time the roof in our bedroom sagged and the manager at the time ignored it. Then, starting in the last 6 months of our third lease, things went to absolute HELL. all of the walls facing the outside began to grow ungodly amounts of mold, some soft and constantly damp, and the apartment just didn't care about it. they told us it was our fault for having FURNI... read more
Update: the ceiling of our bathroom just collapsed. We do not feel safe in this building anymore. ===== The walls are literally crumbling down in this building. I am embarrassed to call this place home. Management neglects basic maintenance of building. Windows not washed in well over a year, lead paint chips rain down on floor and dishes. Package delivery area is completely unsecured and management has shown no intention of protecting it.
