My wife and I did the sunset hike and were fortunate to have Derek as our guide. He picked us up at our hotel and spent about 2 1/2 hours with us. He was very knowledgeable and just enjoyable to be with. We had a blast! The hike is for beginners to moderate hikers. He brought a bottle of wine, snacks, and water. Well worth the cost ($225 plus tip). We plan to ask for him the next time we are in Sedona. Great job Derek and The Hike House!

My wife was having trouble with her hiking boots so we stopped at The Hike House. I believe that it was Jason who helped her get fitted into a new pair, he was very knowledgeable and helpful. She didn't have any problems the rest of the trip. He also put us on some great trails (Hangover and Wilson Mountain) Thanks for your help! Love Sedona and The Hike House!
Some excellent kit for hiking - hence the name of the shop! Staff friendly & knowledgeable. The cafe served some very nice refreshments! Highly recommended if only to salivate over the clothing/footwear!
Fantastic! Great customer service, and free map and trail advice. They treat you so well, even if all you buy is a Trail Cookie - which you SHOULD - they are delicious and rightly famous. A highly recommend The Hike House for anyone visiting Sedona and planning to spend time in the natural beauty of this special place.
Our first time in Sedona and we stopped by the Hike House first to get our parking pass and an idea on which trails we should take. I forget the gentleman's name but he was very helpful and gave us a few options based on what we were looking for. We bought a trail map and we were on our way. Had a wonderful day hiking! We will be back!
Rude salesperson with no Customer Service skills at all. Missing some big sales opportunities. Not everyone plans to hike 10 plus miles, however those of us that enjoy 2-5 miles hikes do have money to spend.
My best friend and I had the most amazing time in Sedona, and The Hike House played a large part. We had two hikes guided by Jason and John, both incredible guides who not only brought us to breathtaking vistas,but also educated us about the history, flora and fauna and safety rules everyone should follow no matter what the skill level. We were in awe and laughed and kicked our fitness level up several notches. I can't recommend them enough!
