Great shop. The employees are very knowledgeable about the areas hikes and trails. They shared some of the "local" routes to avoid people at some of the more popular spots. We stopped in everyday, great selection of relevant gear, great brands and nutrition.
We had a GREAT time hiking with Derek Bond, who guided us first on Bear Mountain and then on Brins Mesa! We appreciated his deep knowledge of the trails, his good sense of humor and his kind disposition. Our first time to hike with the Hike House - it won't be our last!

We have been going to Hike House for five years. They have always steered us to the right hikes. We stop in every time we are in Sedona. The staff is friendly and extremely knowledgeable about all the trails in Sedona. They have a nice selection of gear, shoes and clothing. They have amazing cookies! My husband and I were training for a Rim2Rim hike at the Grand Canyon. We spotted The Hike House and stopped in. In addition to the beautiful hiking books and maps we picked up, Derek was a wealth of knowledge about the R2R hike, too. The store has a great selection of hiking necessities!
