The amount of renovation/construction-related noise is simply unacceptable. Homestead is in the process of remodeling every single unit, one-by-one, whenever there's a vacancy. On average, there are perhaps one or two vacancies per month, as the churn in this building is low. Two years of construction noise from 8a-5p every day. If you WFH or work night shift and rely on sleeping during the day you’ll most likely have to find somewhere else to do those things 9 months per year.
Constructions without warning or notice most of year arround. You need to live outside your flat sometimes due to the loud noise.
It's dirty and there is dog poop everywhere
