We have stayed at the Heathman Lodge before and had a much better experience. Our reservation was canceled before our arrival, without explanation. Our keys stopped working after the first night, showing that our reservation still was not correct. The 3rd floor room was tired, not like other rooms we have stayed in the past. The bar decided to close at 10:30 PM on a Saturday night, even though there was a nice steady flow of people. They claimed they didn't have staff to managed a crowd. While out of my room for a dinner event, staff entered my room, leaving a roll away bed where I nearly ran into it. I had the “do not disturb sign out”. I immediately called and they removed the bed. They told me it was a request from me. When I checked out, I complained and the young woman told me she knew what happened. She pointed out the manager, “Zack”. I waited for him. When I told him there was unauthorized access to my room, his eyes got big. He indicated it was the first time he was hearing my complaint. He continue... read more
Overall an excellent place to stay. Front desk staff welcomed you, were very friendly and helpful too. Every employee I passed by during my stay smiled and said Hi. Highly recommend.
My wife and I had Mothers Day Brunch at the Heathman Lodge. Paul and his staff made us feel like a King and Queen. Paul came by several times to ask "how everything was" The food was tasty, abundant, and a great variety....We will surely go back for dinner and future "brunches"......The Heathman is a "must go to" place in Vancouver...
The lodge itself is beautiful. That 2 of the stars. The staff professionalism is horrible. Our requests were not meet instead they offer cheap lip service to move you along. We went to dinner there during our stay there. The hostess acted like we were inconveniencing her just being there. I’ve had better customer at the grocery store than this place. If you are looking for a nice place to stay at reasonable prices. Then spin the wheel and hope get better service than I did.
SUCH A AWESOME WEEKEND . WITH MY KIDDIES . WE ALWAYS LIKE COMING HERE ITS AWESOME. MALL IS RITE DOWN THE STREET ETC..
Stayed for a conference recently.. Staff was beyond amazing. Very friendly and social. Fun activities for kids. Business suites were amazing and enjoyed the breakfast bar in the mornings. Already booked another stay. Highly recommend.
